We, photographers, are rarely given much time to take photographs of the bride and groom, alone together, on their wedding day. The day unfolds at a frenetic pace. Accordingly, I feel it is necessary to have a plan formulated well in advance of the wedding day itself. Some of my wedding couples have ideas of their own, that they ask me to incorporate into their wedding photos. Most couples, however, prefer to leave it all up to me. Nevertheless, I still feel it is important to encourage couples to be themselves and not step outside of who they are.
