High School Senior Photos
High School Seniors is a new service I recently added. This past year, I had the unexpected pleasure of photographing a few high seniors. I found those experiences very enjoyable and inspiring, prompting me to create this web page and make it official.
I can take your senior portraits indoors, at my studio, or outdoors, at a location of your choice. I can also do both. Gracie, above, opted to combine in studio photos, along with some outdoor photos. The best way to schedule a session that includes both indoor and outdoor photos is to do the indoor photos first, about an hour to an hour and a half before sundown. After we are done with the indoor photos we can venture outside, near my neighborhood just before sundown, when the lighting is best.

My nephew, Ethan, is the first high senior I had the pleasure of photographing. We used my natural light studio for three of images shown. The one with flowers was taken out on my front porch. The nice thing about photographing family members is that you do not have to ask them to use to use their images on your website.

Aiden wanted to have all his photos taken somewhere outdoors. It was a bit tricky out there because it was that time of year when most of the trees had shed their foliage and grassy areas were anything but green. However, I found some welcome reprieve in the form of shade from a cluster of saguaros, close to my neighborhood, that worked well. The best photos from this shoot were the ones just before sunset. Typically, the lighting later in the day and into dusk works best. So if you want your senior photos taken outdoors, try to schedule your photo shoot with me accordingly.
