Off Ina Road, just east of Oracle, the Westward Look Resort enjoys a rich history that dates back to the early nineteen hundreds. Back then, the population of Tucson was a tiny fraction of what it is today. But do not let that fool you. The original remnants have been very well maintained and preserved. The resort has also grown significantly from its' early days. You can read all about it on their website.
With the weddings I photographed there, ceremonies have usually occurred on the deck, above the Sonoran Ballroom. From this vantage point, you can see the landscape almost 360 degrees. Depending on weather conditions, the canopy, depicted to the right, can either be left open or closed. The reception hall lies just below, at ground level, and is one of the finest in town.
Westward Look has the facilities to accommodate smaller, more private, weddings and events, too. One of their popular outdoor spots for ceremonies is the Hummingbird Garden, as depicted in My Lien and Joe's wedding photos. Click image below to see much more.
